About Us
Our Story
Candy's Lingerie is a mother–daughter run family business founded by Candy in 2001.
Mumma Candy immigrated to Australia in the late 90s with the hopes of having a better future here. Back in her motherland, Candy only graduated year 9 before opening up her own clothing shop at 16. She left her friends and relatives to start her new life in Australia. After settling down and finding her place in this foreign country, Mumma started selling lingerie on weekends at markets such as Camberwell, Geelong & Laverton etc. She eventually established permanent locations at Preston & Queen Victoria Market in 2001. Where she has been curating and selling lingerie ever since.
Over the years, Candy’s business started slowing down and so many hidden gems remained untouched. We started to post on depop during Covid, from there we received so much love and support. We were able to reach a the community that loves and adores lingerie. Through the power of the internet, our small family business has grown so much thanks to all of you!
Whether you’ve been following us from the start or recently, you have all helped save Mumma Candy’s business and dream! Mumma Candy & Aunty Lisa have poured their heart and soul into this business. Working late nights days on end, reworking lingerie that doesn’t sell into items that are wearable, flattering and simply beautiful. Their hard work has finally paid off and our pieces truly deserves your love.
We understand lingerie can be expensive. We offer unique and limited pieces at an affordable price point to make you feel beautiful and empowered without breaking the bank. It truly means the world to us to be able to continue curating, reworking and providing the opportunity for everyone to feel special in our lingerie. Thanking you for your support!
With love,
Christina, Candy and the team xx
